With a £300 grant from the Devon Biosphere, the Council has been able to create a community orchard of 20 fruit trees in the Launds Playing Field.
Parishioners in Satterleigh and Warkleigh will be pleased to hear that the Parish notice board at Hilltown Cross has been reinstated.
The play area was reopened in January after repairs to equipment and other areas were completed.
The Council is pleased to announce that it has received a further grant of £1,100 from Devon County Council towards its programme of highway maintenance.
Out of use for some time, the doors to this noticeboard will soon be repaired. Thanks to North Devon District Council for £100 grant towards the cost of the repairs.

Phase 2 of the Council's highway maintenance work has recently been completed.
The Council would like to thank parishioners who contributed to the parish survey, the results of which were discussed at its meeting on 29th October 2018.
The Council was pleased to learn of North Devon Council’s decision that the Exeter Inn should be added to the list of Community Assets (ACVs) held by North Devon Council.
The Parish Council, working with the Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT), has installed a GSM-operated floodlight on the Launds playing field opposite the village hall in Chittlehamholt.

Warkleigh now has its own defibrillator thanks to successful bids for its funding from Devon County and North Devon Councils as well as a generous contribution to the overall cost from the British Heart Foundation.
