In light of the Devon Air Ambulance decision to suspend its flights during the current Coronavirus pandemic, parishioners are reminded that an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), that can be deployed by anybody in an emergency, is situated in the lobby of the Chittlehamholt Village Hall.

The equipment has a built-in audio instruction capability and therefore does not require the user to have received training. However, also in the cabinet containing the AED is a list of recently trained First Responders and their contact phone numbers.

The Parish Council has obtained, and will shortly be installing, a similar device in Warkleigh.
