The Department for Work & Pensions has provided a significant fund to County Councils and Unitary Authorities across England under the ‘COVID Winter Grant Scheme’. The aim is to support vulnerable households with the cost of fuel or food due to the continuing hardships caused by COVID-19.
Due to the current situation with regard to the Coronavirus pandemic and the risk of contracting COVID-19, this section of the Parish Council website will be dedicated for the foreseeable future to providing information on activities in the local community which are aimed at supporting residents and providing information regarding the current situation. Chittlehamholt, Satterleigh and Warkleigh Parish Council
In light of the Devon Air Ambulance decision to suspend its flights during the current Coronavirus pandemic, parishioners are reminded that an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), that can be deployed by anybody in an emergency, is situated in the lobby of the Chittlehamholt Village Hall.
Wth the adevnt of the second lockdown in November, the Community Help Group has restarted its activities and is ready to provide assistance to parishioners where necessary, as it did during the first lockdown.
Due to the Government's restrictions on public gatherings of more than two people, Parish Council meetings held in public are cancelled until further notice. The Council will continue to hold closed virtual meetings in order to complete essential Council business. Details of these meetings will be published on thsi website.
